The initial consultation will usually be conducted at your residence or our office.
Charges for initial consultation are based on the size and scope of the project. A consultation involving the Owner or a Licensed Landscape Architect with 10 to 20 years of experience, are billed at a flat rate of $75.00. A consultation performed by a Landscape Designer with 5+ years experience, is no charge.

There is a budgeted (1) hour maximum time scheduled for this service. This is an information gathering session between the client and an ELA Landscape Professional. |

Client Responsibilities to Provide at Initial Consultation:

• Copy of lot plan and/or topographical survey. (Click here for sample)

| |
• Blueprints of house and/or any previous landscape plans of house
|
| |
• Any pictures of items or elements that appeal or don't appeal to you
|
|
ELA Responsibilities:
|
| 1. Listen to client's concerns, goal, intentions
|
| 2. Common sense recommendations of construction techniques and creative ideas |
| 3. Prescribe options and possibilities |
| 4. Summarize the scope of work and provide a design agreement |
| A design agreement will be submitted to you for your approval prior to the commencement of design services. |
The initial  consultation is a great information gathering process for ELA and for you. If
you would like to visit the office, tour our nursery, or visit
completed
local projects, please feel free to contact us. We can
also provide
a reference list. There are no fees until the design
proposal is accepted.
