This Client requested ELA give them “The Works” in
terms of their outdoor living space. The front of the
residence received a beautiful brick staircase and
Landing; Landscaping Beds that are contained by
majestic brick and stucco retaining walls;
Naturalistic plantings such as St. John’s Wart and
Spirea; and a large Parking Court outlined by Brick
and Belgium Block.To gain access to the rear of the
property you first approach a Cedar Fence and
retaining wall. A Cedar Arbor entrance way leads
you up Bluestone Capped Concrete pavers to the
Bluestone Patio. A Retaining Wall and another
Staircase lead up to the pool area.The landscaping
is similar to the front, but has some taller plant
material for scale. Some of the requirements were to create a master plan for entire property that
addressed vehicular and pedestrian
recirculation in conjunction with the residence
circulation; Provide a formal frontal entrance access
while maintaining access to the rear yard
and garage; and to supply deer-resistant plant material.
