The PLNA (Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association) conducts an annual awards program which honors professionals responsible for the design and installation of high quality residential and commercial landscape projects. This particular project was honored with the Silver Award for Theme Gardens and Garden Show Landscape Display (Tuscany Garden). We participate in this awards program every year. This Tuscan style outdoor room and kitchen was displayed at the 2004 Fort Washington Expo Center Trade Show. The two main features were: an elegant pergola structure consisting of a cedar roof, limestone columns and Travertine pavers; and an outdoor kitchen which included a fireplace, built in grill and refrigerator, and an eating area with Travertine paver flooring. Tuscan style brick inlay helped to capture an old-world feel. Beautiful topiaries brought the entire look together.
