General Overview

This Pergola structure was displayed at the 2005 Suburban Home & Garden trade show. The Pergola roof structure was constructed from sturdy cedar stock. The main support for the structure was four limestone pillars which portrays an old-world feel.

The main entrance walkway has a brick cross hatch pattern with bluestone as the main material for foot traffic.

Fieldstone Piers highlight 3 out of 4 corners. They are capped with a slab of bluestone with a concrete urn on top with Geraniums. The border is lined with Brick. There are Flowering Pears on the corners to give the Pergola structure depth. The low plantings consist of Iris Cristata, Daffodils, Bleeding Hearts, Pansies, and Boxwood.

A large fieldstone curved bar area with bluestone top was constructed to support the multimedia equipment. In front of this area are large upright Begonias.
